Best Friends Forever Poems...
Of all my best friends forever poems, this is the one that has been most emotional for me.
This is from a time that was emotional, heart-wrenching, and even confusing, I think, for all involved.
I don't know if you've ever been forced apart from the one you love, but if you have then this may strike a chord with you.
Not many of my poems express any anger as normally I find it to be of little worth and a waste of time, but you may sense a bit in this one.
It is my hope that my optimism continues to shine through in this best friends poem as that is what lights my path each day and has for my entire life.
The Morning Air...
One that lets silence fill the air
Deaden our communication
Is our heart still there?
Questions start to permeate
Replacing confidence...despair
A month or so we'll be apart
Days we'll never share
Except for in our hearts and minds
The only place safe from their
Hopeless interruption
Stagnant minds that think they care
For your independence and your interests
Although they're never there
So when this nightmare comes to pass
And the sunlight shares the morning air
We'll know that true love still exists
Our new chapter
One where only love will fill the air
