Broken Heart Poems...

My broken heart poems signify an end, a beginning, and an unwillingness to let go of something so beautiful.

Much like my grief and farewell poems there is a deep sadness conveyed on the author's part and normally on the reader's end as they envision the hurt and pain.

In the process of losing love, we often gain valuable friendships (whether they can continue or not) and we often realize and admit important things about ourselves.

My deepest hope is that love returns (as I'm sure so many who experience loss must hope as well). For some reason I'm confident that this love was too strong for it to be gone forever.

As you read this sad poem, you may find it feels more like a funeral poem. I do hope that you see the bright lights within.

Rest in peace
Love of mine
Resurrect
We'll be just fine
Fighting through
Sea of tears
Come to me
Away from fears
Awake from nightmares
Haunting you
Breathe again
We'll make it through
Don't rest in peace
Love of mine
You can't ever go away
It's not your time
