Ready for some funny 40th birthday poems?!
I've always enjoyed poking fun at friends and family as they start getting older and stop counting their birthdays. (Ha ha)
I'm sure I'll get a taste of my own medicine at some point, too.
Anyway, here's a bday poem that I wrote to no one in particular (maybe someone will read it to me on my 40th!)
40 Years...
40 years have gone so fast
40 years have been a blast
Your hair is thin
Your muscles soft
Hey, Wake Up! You're already dozing off
Prescription drugs, incontinence
Just nod your head if this makes sense
All kidding aside, you're such a dear
What a joy to have friends and family all here
So, here's to 40 on this fine day
And here's to you!
