Here's one I wrote for my Mom (Ma!) years ago...
Happy birthday. Heartfelt wishes for many more.
A birthday cake, a hug or two.
Only because I love you, Mom.
Please don't think it's all downhill,
It's not. You have not yet reached the upward climb.
Some days have past,
Yet there are years to come.
Use them wisely,
Only because I love you, Mom.
Today's the day. It's finally here,
Your love has shown from year to year.
Your time has not passed,
However, if that's what you think,
Please keep in mind,
This one important fact,
I want you to know,
I will always love you, Mom.
