Heartbroken Poems...
Heartbroken poems can be written before, during, or even after a breakup.
Sometimes broken heart poems can be written as a way of understanding emotion and pushing away hurt.
I like to think that they can actually prevent an end to a relationship as they help to remind me of what the future will hold.
I wrote this sad poem as a way of acknowledging that love isn't always easy especially when two people are forced to love and support each other from afar.
In the end, I know it's our strength that will see the both of us through. I hope that my words help you to be optimistic about any experience you may be having, too.
Again...
I'm just pretending to be strong
Without you here beside me
It feels worthless to carry on
Let's tear it down
It's hurting us
This invisible barrier
Communication is what started our love
Now forced to sit and wait without you here
I know you're going through the same thing
With even more to bear
Every waking moment I cling to your words
I'll be back, I'm here to stay
That you'd love to be my wife
And
I love you, Only you B
That's what gets me through the night
