Life in flames

Night after night I cry
tears of sorrow
tears of pain
pieces of myself falling each day
round and round life spins
each day seems to get harder and harder.
The pain I feel is nothing to what you say.
all my life I wonder,
when will these tears disappear?
my life shatters it burns
I put up a shield, nobody see's.
you'll never know how many nights I cry
how many nights I wonder,
I'm hoping, I'm wishing that some one would finally see in my eyes
the pain i see

if only if you knew what it was like to be me.
