Love Poem in Spanish...
The creation of the Love Poem in Spanish section stems from my birth in Bogota, Colombia.
And, although I haven't yet been back to visit the beautiful country, learning about my culture and heritage including the language has always played an important role in my life.
I'm sure I've taken some liberties in both grammar and choice of word, but as with my English poems, I believe it helps in keeping the poetic essence.
Here's one of my romantic Spanish poems.
En Sueños...
Tus sueños puedo proteger
Estoy esperando el día
Que nuestro amor pueda crecer
Entre en mi corazón
Pensamientos que quiero oír
Estoy esperando el día
Cuando el mundo pueda saber
Entre en mis sueños
El corazón que puedo adorar
Estoy esperando la noche
Los sueños no lloran más.
