i miss you poems

Whether in the form of sad poetry, uplifting words, or inspirational quotes each presents its own beauty.

This is a poem about love that I wrote during the growth, uncertainty, and excitement of what was a fairly new relationship at the time.

I can remember sitting in my car typing it into my cell phone as I had no pen and paper on which to write at the time.

I wrote fast and deliberately with great emotion for a special woman who hadn't yet realized the road ahead, but whose strength I could see from afar.

Away...

Tonight she walked away forever
When we finally saw each others eyes
Emotion gone away forever
Gone wrapped and sent goodbye

Teardrops from her laughter
Smiles from her cries
New paths to walk
Why did we close our eyes

Gone until tomorrow
But never in our eyes
A moment that we borrowed
Time away she flies
