Love Sad Poems

I love sad poems, too.

Sometimes they help to get a quick cry and other times they make you realize that whatever you're going through isn't the end of the world.

I started writing love poems a long time ago when I was little. Now I wish I had kept more of my writing, just to look back on everything.

To me, poems are sort of like photo albums. They help you to relive memories.

Anyway, here's one of my sad love poems. Enjoy!

Looking for a silence in a world I've been thrown in.
To draw one breath,
To start anew,
Creating a salvation,
Filtered lies,
I want to mistrust you.

Efrain,

Sad love poems always get me.

I know exactly what you mean, too, about wishing you had kept some of your earlier writing. I've got a few hanging around that I had done for school projects, but most are now lost in the wind.

Also, thanks for being the very first reader to contribute to the site! That's very exciting.
