My Missing You Poems are for those suffering from the pain and hurt associated with lost love, stuck with the hope of its return someday.

Oftentimes in life we find someone with whom we can be completely honest and true, showing the deepest sides of ourselves that we normally hold in reserve.

Breaking down these barriers can be both exciting and scary. Especially with the knowledge that it can all be taken away no matter how much you care.

It's been days since I last saw you
days since I've heard your voice
You broke my heart
You crushed my faith
Yet my mind never rests
Solely focused on our last embrace
I miss your touch, your gentle ways
Lying face to face
Stories and the dreams we shared
Passion you know he can't replace
So when you're lonely
Come to me
our strength
It lies in wait
The dreams you threw into the ground
I've saved
For you
We lie and wait
