Lost alone confused and quiet
Petrified can't find a smile
Cowering escape awhile

Softest arms you held me tight
Memory my only light
In your last breath I feel the night
Safely fall please far from sight

Fingertips they sting and burn
Young and old to never learn
Risk it all to feel alive
Shattered dreams now just inside
