As in many of my secret love poems, there may be a hidden message ~ one that only my lover's heart knows for sure.
I wrote this short love poem at 5am on a cold Boston morning.
For Good...
I've been waiting my whole life
To have you as part of we
And though I appreciate your status
I've Loved you
Emotionally
Mentally
Physically
I'm waiting now for all of you
To return to we
So that first night
When you're in my arms for good
I'll treat you like you've always deserved
But know I'm expecting all of you
That first night
I only Love you naturally
Know my words are true
That first night
All my waiting is through
I'm taking all of you
Emotionally
Mentally
Physically
I've been waiting my whole life
Not one month, not six months, not even one more day
That first night when you are in my arms for good
All our waiting will be through...
