Sad and lonely without you

I wake in the morning
and look out the window
I stay there still watching
and my eyes frown in sorrow

I sit by my bed
my hands in my cheeks
my eyes start to water
as I begin to weep

I feel like a child
abandoned and lost
I have no smile
all has a cost

My reason for sadness
is as simple as this
I feel it is madness
without you

Some, tell me to cheer up
but I shake my head
I tell them it's fear
the tears that I shed
