Sad Love

I normally write my sad love poems in a notebook, but today is out of the ordinary and so might be my actions and routine.

Non-functioning and cold
Hypothermic in the summer
Hands are feeling old
Muscles atrophy with slumber
Trapped and so alone
Heart bleeds a different color
Crying to have you near me
You left because you're fearing
Now your tears tell me your heart's also bleeding
Our future's within grasp
All it needs is our both believing
Opportunity's not passed
It's here and we can be it
If you need me for foundation
Or the bridge to help you reach it
Our destiny is we Love
Together shall achieve it
Grab my hand and grab my heart
None shall lie defeated
Our strength our Love our destiny
I'm here helping if you'll meet it
Close your eyes and fly to me
I'll catch you and I'll keep you
Safe and happy in my arms
In our hearts
We see it

Waiting for my Love whose heart I know is still with me to gather the courage and the strength to break free and follow her dreams. You know we'll work Love. You didn't deny it and I know you still feel and want it. Let's do this together. There is nothing that can stop us.
