Although my parents didn't play much music around the house, I sought it out and had my stereo playing constantly.

I couldn't tell you how many cassettes I wore out from playing them too much.

From the likes of Michael Jackson to Jodeci, Bob Marley to Stevie Wonder, even Guns N' Roses and House of Pain. I listened to anything and everything ~ for the sounds, for the music, for the lyrics, and for the message.

This passion for music, I believe, now shines through in my secret love poems, inspirational poems for kids, short sweet love poems, and my love poem in spanish.

I wrote this short friendship poem today while listening to music on my laptop.

The entire poem took less than one minute to write and is much different than my usual story telling sequences. I do hope that you like it.
