The Best Love Poems...
The best Love poems are filled with hope. And, if you've read any of my poems, that is a resounding theme in my thoughts and in my life.

I wrote the sad inspirational poem below on a rainy night in February, a day after hearing my Love's voice in an unexpected and beautiful conversation.
Although it felt like the blink of an eye, our sharing lasted two hours that day ~ reminiscing about Love and laughter, intimacy and friendship, and what the future might hold.
Her energy and our energy is displayed in my engagement poems, sweet poems, and initially in my secret love poems.
You'll even find her original work in a poem called LOVE that now sits eternally tattooed on my arm. (It's my absolute favorite of the best love poems I've ever read).
I started the friendship and Love poem below, planning to use each letter of the alphabet to begin each new line. It worked out that way, but I was both surprised and pleased with the end result of my poem about Love.
I hope that you enjoy reading it, too.
Unending Night...
Arrest of cardiac nature, silence save for the
Beating of our hearts, ebb and flow like nature
Created spark, though face to face sometimes we
Depart, sailing through our sea of tears, taste the ocean
Embrace deep thought, logical and true to one
Future's bright, and dreams are hot
Growing closer still, though at times we've been apart
Heather
In clarity with silence, screaming heart, unending night
Just to hold your heart forever, hand in hand, create the light
Knowing with conviction, everything will be right
Love without restriction, I see us floating, smiles bright
Mired in confusion, yesterday falls out of sight
Now forward with our mission, memories fueling life
Open arms supporting, we'll never give up this fight
Power to each other, individual strength foundation might
Quirky and sometimes quiet, stories shared, embrace
Relaxed yet tight, cowardice has left us now
Support is understood and shared and right
Trust began with friendship, inspiration, equality, delight
Unraveling all barriers, finally opportunity excites
Vast and open future
World brimming, overflowing, everything within our sight
Xoxo, little Love notes, I sing to you at night
Years from now I'll be a happy man, right beside my wife
Zzzz's will fall upon us then guiding our Love for our eternal life
