I wonder if you thought of me,
Like I thought of you today.
And I wonder if the time were right,
What you'd come to me and say.
I wonder what the future holds,
And if you thought of that today.
And I wonder if you wonder,
About what I'd really like to say.
I wonder if I thought of you,
Like you thought of me today.
And I wonder if the time were right,
What I'd come to you and say.
I wonder if the future holds,
What we thought about today.
Or if the future holds at all,
The things I'm trying to say.
Maybe if you think of me,
While I think of you today,
My heart will catch a fire,
And show what I'm trying to say.
If I knew that you were thinking, too,
What I thought about today,
Then I would tell you how I feel,
And I would show you everyday.
